MFR (Micro Follicle Replacement)

MFR, micro follicle replacement is a cosmetic procedure done to solve problems of hair loss and balding. In the procedure, hair is grafted from areas of good hair growth to bald parts of the head. Many hundreds or thousands of grafts are done until the desired cover is achieved. Because the hair is grafted in its follicles, the problem of baldness is solved permanently. This is because the follicles are taken from a part of the head where only balding resistant follicles are found, and they retain this property even when relocated. Although the hair may fall our immediately following surgery, it will regrow from the newly grafted follicles and will continue to grow and thicken over the few months following surgery.
