Strip Surgery Treatments

Strip surgery is a method of hair restoration surgery. In this procedure, the surgeon excises several hair follicles at once, and grafts them onto an area of baldness. This procedure is repeated many times over, until the desired amount of cover is achieved. The surgery can therefore take several hours. In some cases, more than one session is needed. The hair is always taken from areas of the head which are resistant to balding, and the follicles retain this property when they are grafted to a new area. Further surgery is therefore not needed, as the solution is permanent. Although hair loss is common immediately following surgery, the hair quickly regrows and continues to do so in the months and years that follow.
