Transplant Hair Solutions

In transplanting hair, surgeons take hair from a part of the scalp which is resistant to balding, and relocate it to a balding area. The hair is trasplanted in follicular units which contain between one and four hairs. The hairs themselves often fall out in the days following the procedure, but as the follicle from which they grow have been transplanted, new hair will grow in their place. These follicles are genetically resistant to balding, and so will go on producing hair throughout life.

One surgery usually consists of multiple grafts, and can often be done under sedation alone. Patients are discharged on the the same day.
